Incidents

The incidents tab is used to record, track and analyse workplace incidents, helping to improve safety measures and prevent future occurences.

Logging an incident

To add an incident click on the Add incident button next to the search tab

Fill in the relevant fields.

Name
Description
Example

Incident Name

Give it a high-level name

Slipped on wet floor

Incident Description

Describe what happened

Employee slipped near the kitchen due to wet floor with no warning sign

Incident Category

What category this incident falls under.

Slip, trip and fall

Incident Classification

The severity of the incident.

Major

Reported by Staff

Name of the person logging the incident

Location details

Specific location

Kitchen area near sink

Update Status

To update the status.

Click the name of the incident. Then click the relevant status button in the stage area.

Closing and Archiving an incident.

To close and archive an incident, click on the incident name.

Scroll to the bottom and click Close and archive incident
